At Huddie, safety is our top priority. We’ve implemented a range of advanced security features to protect both companions and guests during meetups. Our system ensures a verified, transparent, and secure experience for everyone involved.

Confirmation Code Verification

Before a booking officially starts, the companion must ask the guest for a unique Confirmation Code. This code is entered into the app and verified to ensure both parties are meeting the correct person. This step eliminates impersonation risks and establishes a secure connection between guest and companion.

1-Mile Away Safety Check-In

As the guest and companion approach the meetup location, a push notification is sent to both devices when they are within 1 mile of each other. If either party indicates concern or does not respond, our security team is alerted for further action.

Location Tracking for Extra Security

Once the Confirmation Code is verified, the system automatically logs essential location details, including:

Current Location – Ensures real-time tracking for added security.
Location History (Path) – A record of movement throughout the booking.
Start/End Points – Clear tracking of when and where the meetup occurred.
Booking Status – A visible indicator that the booking is active, in progress, or completed.

Behavior Monitoring

Our monitoring system proactively detects unusual behaviors that may indicate safety concerns. If any of the following suspicious activities occur frequently, the system will trigger a security review:

Rapid booking cancellations
Repeatedly blocked users
Inconsistent location data
Irregular activity patterns

Smart Monitoring for Threat Detection

To ensure safe communication, our smart algorithm monitors chat messages in real-time. If potentially harmful, abusive, or threatening messages

Delayed SOS Feature

For additional safety, if the companion or guest does not check out within a set timeframe after the booking ends, an emergency notification is triggered. This sends an alert to emergency contacts and notifies our support team to take action.

Share Your Booking with Trusted Contacts

For extra peace of mind, users can share their booking details with friends or family members. This includes:

Live location tracking
Booking duration
Meetup details
